Small businesses have contributed greatly to the robust economic growth in both Brentwood and Williamson County.
In 2006, there were over 26 million small businesses in the Unites States according to the Small Business Administration's Office of Advocacy estimates. Over the past decade, small businesses have created 60 to 80 percent of the net new jobs. The most recent data shows that small firms accounted for all of the net new jobs in 2004.
Brentwood and Williamson County continue to embrace small businesses by providing many resources and support to encourage their success.
